Quarterback Aaron Rodgers was seen throwing on the field just a month after suffering an Achilles injury. The Jets passer was spotted playing some catch before New York’s matchup with the Eagles, and NFL fans can’t seem to fathom his quick return.

Rodgers tore his Achilles on the first drive of his Jets debut, leading many to believe he’d be lost for the season before it really got started. The brutal injury would send most to the sidelines for an extended period of time.

Recent reports, though, hint that his recovery could be speedier than first anticipated.

He was out of a walking boot, moving around without crutches upon arriving to MetLife Stadium on Sunday. He then took things a step further.

Rodgers took to the field for pregame warm-ups, firing off a few lasers to New York teammates. It leads one to believe his recovery method is working.

The NFL world was stunned to see him up and moving so quickly after a major setback.

Robert Griffin III said, “Aaron Rodgers ISN’T HUMAN. He is already walking without crutches AND throwing after tearing his Achilles about 5 weeks ago.”

“What sort of wizardry is this?” asked another follower. “He tore his Achilles last month.”

This is impressive to see! Hopefully this gives the Jets the motivation they need to keep playing hard until he returns,” this fan wrote.

“Amazing recovery plan in progress,” someone else commented.

The quarterback underwent surgery on September 13th, two days after his initial injury.

Rodgers fully tore his Achilles tendon during Week 1 on Sept. 11. Had surgery on Sept. 13, which placed an internal brace called a “speed bridge” on his ruptured Achilles and gave him some hope for a return at some point this season.

It now appears possible that he’ll return by season’s end, giving Jets fans some sense of hope should they weather the storm during his absence.
