Adam Sandler is one of, if not, the most successful comedians of our generation. He’s had an amazing run and it’s probably not stopping anytime soon.

However, it sounds like a new project revolving around the UFC might be in the works for The Sandman.

During an appearance on The Pat McAfee Show, UFC President Dana White revealed some of the projects the organization is working on.

He mentions a behind the scenes documentary that is separate from the film Conor McGregor just released on Netflix. In addition to that, White also claims that he’s working with Adam Sandler on a UFC comedy show.

Here’s what White had to say about the project, per MMA Fighting. “We’re working on that [documentary], we’re also working on a show right now with Adam Sandler that’s a comedy about working in the offices of the UFC.”

You can check out the interview for yourself below.

Sandler’s DNA is all over the comedy scene. Additionally, this won’t be the first time he’s worked with the UFC before.

According to MMA Fighting, “Happy Madison also helped produce the 2012 film Here Comes the Boom starring Kevin James, which also revolved around the UFC, with the promotion even licensing its name for use during production.”

With that said, a comedy show centered around the UFC offices sounds like a good idea and who better to work on that project than Adam Sandler?

There is no current release date just yet, as it sounds like the show is in very early development.

With that said, we’re sure to hear more about this project as time goes on.
