Tom Brady has finally responded to all the retirement rumors.

Last week, ESPN’s Adam Schefter and Jeff Darlington reported that Brady was set to retire and would announce it fairly soon.

On Monday night, Brady denied that he made a decision on his future on his weekly podcast and called out journalists like Schefter for trying to get ahead of the news.

“We’re in such an era of information and people want to be in front of the news often. I totally understand that. I understand that’s the environment we’re in. I think for me, it’s just literally day to day with me.”

Schefter went on to awkwardly quote Brady’s comments about the premature retirement reports, which led to hilarious reactions from fans.
