Taylor Swift may be all the rage right now in NFL circles, but don’t sleep on Adele.

Because the day before the Swifties were treated to seeing their girl in a skybox at the Kansas City Chiefs game, Adele was performing a concert and informed all of her fans there that she is a Cleveland Browns fan. (She also called herself Rich Paul’s “wife” which was news to a lot of people as well.)

“I’m not the greatest wife, really, when it comes to football even though my partner absolutely loves it,” Adele shared with her fans at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas last Saturday.

“But I hope, I have to support the Cleveland Browns because because my partner’s from Cleveland.

“Well, why would I support anyone anyway? I’m from f—— England. It’s ’cause it’s my man’s team, but I hope the team wins tomorrow,” she continued.

“You’re not playing the Cleveland Browns tomorrow are you? No idea… but, um, good luck and I hope, I hope that goes well for you and that you have fun.”

“.@Adele is one of us 🥹,” the Cleveland Browns Twitter account posted on X after sharing the clip.

They then shared a photo of Adele at a Browns game, sipping a drink, wearing a Cleveland jersey and a necklace with the word “BROWNS.”

Naturally, this led to a whole bunch of comments like “Adele > Taylor Swift” and “I guess I’m an Adele fan now” from Cleveland Browns fans.

“She’s no stranger to hurt and disappointment so she’ll fit right in,” someone else joked.

Interestingly, as someone pointed out in the comments, both Adele and Taylor Swifts are now dating guys from Cleveland. Way to go, Ohio!
