Adidas Took A Steamer Right On Under Armour’s Chest After UA Endorser Andy Murray Plays In Their Shoes Instead
Thanks to the success of athletes like Jordan Spieth and Steph Curry, Under Armour has enjoyed one hell of a Summer. That all came to a temporary halt yesterday when Adidas felt the need to point out that Andy Murray dumped Under Armour’s shoes, which he is contractually obligated to wear, in favor of Adidas’ tennis shoes.
Murray, who is still wearing UA apparel, has been back in Adidas shoes for a while now, but apparently Adidas has finally taken notice. And they publicly shamed Under Armour know about it with the most perfect tweet possible.

That is a QUALITY burn.
While we’re at it, let’s call shit shit, because if we’re being honest, these Under Armour tennis shoes he was rocking look like shit. And I am usually a fan of Under Armour’s offerings. But these…can’t support these.
Nice shoes, Grandpa. Did you need a prescription from an orthopedic surgeon to get them?
