Afroman is celebrating after winning a court case against Ohio cops who sued him for mocking them in music videos after they raided his home.
On Wednesday night, Afroman won a jury verdict clearing him of wrongdoing in a lawsuit filed by seven Adams County sheriff’s deputies, who accused the rapper of defaming them in music videos that mocked them after a failed raid on his home.
Victory for Afroman over the sheriff’s deputies who sued him for defamation and invasion of privacy through false light.

One of the deputies, Randy Walters, went viral earlier this week when he claimed he was in “tremendous pain” when Afroman claimed he slept with his wife in a parody music video.

Afroman defended his parody music videos as an exercise of freedom of speech.
“I got freedom of speech,” he told jurors. “After they run around my house with guns, kicked down my door, I got the right to kick a can in my backyard, use my freedom of speech, turn my bad times into a good time.”
“I think I’m a sport for doing so because I don’t go to their house, kick down their doors, flip them off on their surveillance cameras, then try to play the victim and sue them.”
After his win, Afroman spoke to the media about his win in court.
“I didn’t win, America won. America still has freedom of speech. It’s still for the people, by the people.”
