Mikal Bridges Shoots His Shot With WNBA Star A’Ja Wilson, Promptly Gets Denied

Sometimes you just have to shoot your shot to see what happens. You never know if she’ll say yes or no. So you have to at least try.

That was certainly the case for Brooklyn Nets star Mikal Bridges over the weekend.

He hit up A’Ja Wilson, the star forward for the Las Vegas Aces in the WNBA and got completely shot down.

Bleacher Report shares the interaction between the two basketball stars. Mikal Bridges simply asked when Wilson’s next game is. Rather than answering his question, she denied him with an ice cold response.

That denial was more intense than when LeBron James blocked Andre Iguodala’s shot in the 2016 NBA Finals.

I mean, how does Mikal Bridges even recover from that? Basketball fans couldn’t help but wonder the same, as they shared some hilarious reactions.

There is a chance it was all just a misunderstanding.
