The final Thursday Night Football game was absolutely terrible. On Thursday, the Chicago Bears and the Seattle Seahawks delivered one of the worst games of the regular season as both teams failed to score a touchdown.

At the end of the game, Amazon broadcaster Al Michaels mocked both teams by comparing the score to a baseball game that was played earlier this year.

Al Michaels: “Kirk, do you realize earlier this season…Seattle beat Chicago earlier this year, 6-3”

Kirk Herbstreit: “In a soccer game?”

Al Michaels: “Nope, Mariners beat the White Sox in Chicago on July 29th. History repeats”

Fans also ripped into the NFL over the latest dreadful Thursday Night Football game.

“There have been two NFL games played this season with 0 total touchdowns scored. Both were on Thursday Night Football (Bears/Seahawks and 49ers/Rams). Amazon paid so much money for this.” commented one fan.

“I think I can speak for every NFL fan when I say, GET RID OF THURSDAY NIGHT FOOTBALL” said another fan.

Amazon currently pays the NFL $1 billion annually to air Thursday Night Football games, so the league can probably expect to continue making a lot of money from the streaming giant.
