The Alabama Crimson Tide was upset by conference foe Vanderbilt in one of the most shocking takedowns of the college football season. After the game, a few of those Alabama players were visibly heated.
A video shows a handful of angry Crimson Tide contributors being forcefully restrained as they made their way to the locker room.
It came amid an epic scene in Nashville as thousands of Commodore fans stormed onto the field to celebrate the win with the team. As is often the case when fans flood from their seats, the celebration began before the opposition made its way to the tunnel.

Fans and players on the Vanderbilt side were ecstatic. The win was a historic one!
Prior to taking down the Crimson Tide, the Commodores were a combined 0-60 against Top 5 competition. They moved to 1-60 on Saturday, and they’ll have a chance to start a winning streak when Texas comes to town later this month.
Alabama, meanwhile, left frustrated.
Even before the final seconds ticked off the clock, team captain Malachi Moore was seen throwing a fit while the ‘Dores took a knee to end the game.
It was a feeling that trickled into the postgame.
Alabama football players had to be restrained as Vanderbilt celebrated on the field.
Images of players being held back while Vanderbilt celebrated have now circulated social media.
It seems there was at least one back-and-forth with the Commodores team as Alabama made its way to the locker room.
While field storming provides an incredible visual scene, it can sometimes result in dicey interactions.
Tennessee, who was involved in a similar situation after being upset by Arkansas, had a player shove a Razorback fan that made his way onto the field Saturday night.
Alabama has dealt with the negative headlines in past upsets, too.
In this case, it appears the reaction was more so directed towards Vandy players, though it’s not quite clear if any fans were involved in the exchanges.
Vanderbilt celebrated the upset in exciting fashion, as they should. Maybe a rule will soon be put into place allowing the losing team to exit the field before fans leave their seats.
