New York Yankees outfielder Alex Verdugo was seen threatening Orioles players after a pair of teammates were hit in the hand by Baltimore pitching.
It was a reaction that was echoed throughout the New York dugout after seeing that second player belted in the batter’s box.
Superstar centerfielder Aaron Judge was plunked in the bottom of the third inning, resulting in an early exit from action. The Yankees’ top hitter, he currently leads the American League in home runs and RBIs.
Aaron Judge left tonight’s game in the 4th inning after being hit by a pitch in the left hand. He will undergo imaging at NewYork-Presbyterian this evening and is expected to be seen by Yankees Head Team Physician Dr. Christopher Ahmad.

Having little time to process the situation, the team would soon see another contributor hit in the exact same spot, sparking a major response from the New York bench.
Just two innings after watching Judge head to the locker room, middle infielder Gleyber Torres was belted by Baltimore pitching.
Alex Verdugo erupted in the dugout, threatening to fight Orioles players.
The outfielder was seen shouting obscenities in the direction of Baltimore fielders.
“Just me and you,” he exclaimed. “And after I’m done with you, I’m gonna f— that guy up.”

He was heated!
While maybe a bit over the line, it was an understandable response to seeing not one, but two key players plunked in vulnerable areas – with one being forced to leave the game.
Not long ago, we saw Dodgers star Mookie Betts go down after being hit in that very same place, suffering an injury that will cost him two months of the regular season.
The Yankees hope that Judge can avoid a stint on the injured list and come back unscathed. He is undergoing imaging this evening and the team hopes to have the results of those scans soon.
