Arguably, no fans debate each other on social media like NBA fans. The debates often resemble the debates that music fans have about their favorite artists, and if you’ve ever been on that side of Twitter, you know that’s pretty serious. And, each year, the All-NBA teams spark contentious social media debate.
This year is no different. On Wednesday, the All-NBA teams were announced. Here they are.
2022-23 All-NBA teams:
1st: Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, Luka Doncic, Joel Embiid, Jayson Tatum, Giannis Antetokounmpo
2nd: Stephen Curry, Donovan Mitchell, Jimmy Butler, Nikola Jokic, Jaylen Brown
3rd: Damian Lillard, De’Aaron Fox, LeBron James, Julius Randle, Domantas Sabonis

LeBron James made another All-NBA Team. He has made it every year since missing it in his rookie year in 2003-2004, and has now made nineteen straight All-NBA teams. Notably, two-time defending MVP Nikola Jokić, who was second in the voting this year behind Joel Embiid, was left off All-NBA first team. That’s because, for the final season, the NBA does it by positions, with two guards, two forwards and two centers being selected.
But, there are some notable other snubs for All-NBA. Some of them being Suns guard, Devin Booker, Grizzlies guard Ja Morant, and Hawks guard Trae Young. Here is what Twitter is saying.
DBOOK all nba snub is crazy .

Trae Young was robbed yet again! Averaged 26 and 10 on a playoff team while playing in 89% of the games is wild! #IceTrae #TraeYoung #AllNBASnub

NBA media just doesn’t like Trae and I’ve already accepted that he’s gonna keep getting snubbed for All NBA

I’m sure there will be more things for NBA fans to complain about soon.
