A bizarre moment occurred at the end of the Amanda Serrano-Nina Meinke event in Puerto Rico.
Minutes after Jake Paul won his fight vs TKO, Serrano walked into the ring and announced the unfortunate news that she would not be able to compete due to suffering an eye injury yesterday.
A crying Serrano apologized to the crowd for not being able to perform.

Paul’s MVP promotions announced that Serrano’s opponent Meinke would be paid her full fight card, and fans in attendance would be offered refunds.
It’s currently unclear when the commission decided to call off the fight before the actual in-ring announcement.
