Amir Khan’s time with McNeese State appears to be coming to an end. In the past few weeks, Khan, McNeese State’s student manager, has gone viral for rapping alongside players while walking out of the tunnel holding a boombox.
Amir Khan has become a viral sensation with his swagger, energy, and legendary song selections.

During the early rounds of the NCAA tournament, Khan was able to turn his viral fame into six figures worth of NIL sponsorship deals.

I’m told he has 12 NIL deals, all totaling well into the six figures. Buffalo Wild Wings, TickPick and TurboTax are the three biggest. Nothing like March. pic.twitter.com/Jl0DctW6K1

Unfortunately, McNeese State was ousted from the NCAA tournament in the second round and it appears that Khan is leaving the school.
According to CBS Sports’ Matt Norlander Khan is expected to leave McNeese State when he graduates to potentially follow Will Wade at NC State as a graduate manager.

And though he’s set to graduate from McNeese this fall with a degree in sports management, his time in college basketball isn’t going to be up. Will Wade has agreed to a six-year deal to be the next coach at NC State, he told CBS Sports, and Kahn is expected to join Wade’s staff as a graduate manager later this year. His exact role isn’t known yet.
