To say it takes an insane amount of commitment to become an Olympic athlete is the ultimate understatement. Many people devote their entire lives to a single sport in the hopes that they might be lucky enough to qualify for an event that only takes place every four years, but it’s not like there are a lot of other opportunities to objectively say you’re the best in the world at something.
It takes a truly special kind of person to become an Olympian, and if this video of Swiss freestyle skier Andri Ragettli is any indication, at least some of the people preparing for the upcoming Olympics in Pyeongchang, South Korea might not actually be human beings in the first place.

The 19-year-old Ragettli somehow manages to pull off a series of moves that would put most people in the hospital, and it’s really no wonder he’s a favorite heading in the 2018 Games. If they ever add parkour as an event in the Summer Olympics, Ragettli would be a dual-threat Olympian to be reckoned with.
