The Angel Reese vs Caitlin Clark Rookie of the Year race continues to heat up.

For the past few weeks, Reese and Clark have been neck and neck when it comes to who will be the rookie of the year.

On Saturday afternoon, Clark made WNBA history when she became the first rookie in league history to record a triple-double in a game.

Reese responded to Clark’s big game by recording her 13th straight double-double, a new WNBA record.

There’s still a lot of games to be played but ESPN’s Carolyn Peck believes Reese should win the Rookie of the Year award because she’s putting up “grown woman numbers.”

“It is a thin thin line, it’s really tight, but when you look at, where the teams are and I also looked a little deeper and looked plus/minus and also looked at net rating.

“And when you look at that Angel Reese has to get the nod…This is a player who has come in as a rookie and is putting up grown woman numbers.”
