Angel Reese is sounding off on the refs after the Chicago Sky’s latest loss vs Caitlin Clark and the Indiana Fever.

On Sunday afternoon, the Sky suffered another loss to the Indiana Fever, and Reese believes the referees played a major role in the game.

During the game, Reese was assessed a flagrant foul for hitting Clark in the head while trying to black Clark’s shot.

While speaking to the media, Reese blasted the refs for calling a flagrant on her.

“It was a basketball play. I can’t control the refs. They affected the game obviously a lot today.”

“I’m always going for the ball. Y’all are going to play that clip 20 times before Monday.”

Reese would later say she felt the refs missed several foul calls and implied the Fever benefited from getting a “special whistle” from the refs.

“I think we were playing really hard. I think we went up really strong and a lot of times we didn’t get a lot of calls and going back and looking at the film we’ve seen a lot of calls that weren’t made…I guess some people got a special whistle.”
