Any concerns fans might have had that Angel Reese was leaving money and fame on the table by leaving LSU for the WNBA can now officially been put to bed.

Reese recently flexed her superstardom before even playing a game in the W by becoming the first rookie to ever attend the Met Gala.

Now she’s yet again living her best life, going on stage and getting twerked on by rap superstar Megan Thee Stallion at a concert on Sunday night.

Reese also joined fellow star GloRilla on stage for her part of the show.

Megan Thee Stallion Concert Is Just The Latest Show Of Angel Reese’s Stardom

She spoke with ESPN recently about how she’s been able to capitalize on her popularity in Chicago.

“A lot of people don’t get these opportunities,” Reese said. “I have a crazy life. But I enjoy it and I just maximize it as much as I can.”

So, where did she learn to handle the stardom? Reese says it started young.

“My grandma used to come and brush my hair up every day and I hated it,” he said with a smile. “And paint my nails and throw a little mascara on me … So I’ve always embodied just being a girly-girl but on the court just being a dog.”

Reese has been just that on the court for the Chicago Sky. The Maryland native averaged 11.5 points and 8.5 rebounds per game over her first two WNBA games. Chicago is 1-1 in those two contests.

Many fans wondered about Reese’s transition to the WNBA.

Would she still be a big star? How would her game translate? Was she just a big fish in a small pond?

It’s becoming increasingly evident that Reese is just a superstar regardless of her environment. And that doesn’t appear as if it’s going to change anytime soon.
