Angel Reese has high hopes for her first signature Reebok shoe. According to Reese, people are going to be wearing them “everywhere” just like they do with Jordan brand sneakers.
According to Reebok, the Angel Reese 1 features a “lightweight, molded upper design, providing stability and durability, upper cut-outs with ventilated mesh panels that create additional breathability, and ERS, a multi-component technology system built around a lightweight EVA midsole. The Angel Reese 1, which is described as being a unisex sneaker, will be available for purchase beginning on Thursday, September 18 at 10 a.m. EST.
Never short on confidence, Reese said during a recent interview that her Angel Reese 1 will become as popular as Jordans, the iconic sneaker brand backed by the legendary Michael Jordan.

“Reebok is back. We’re bringing back that old-school look, the old-school vibes. People are going to be wearing Reebok everywhere, just like how they wear Jordans everywhere. I want people to wear the Angel Reese 1s everywhere and just to be a household name, to have no limits on what I can do and what I can accomplish,” Reese said in an interview with Elle.
So far this season, as of August 18, Reese has appeared in 21 of the Chicago Sky’s 33 games, and is averaging 14 points, 12.6 rebounds and 3.8 assists per game. She’s missed recent weeks with a back injury, however, and it’s unclear if she’ll play again this season.
Her presence hasn’t helped the Chicago Sky succeed on the court, however, as they have the second-worst record in the WNBA this season and will likely miss the playoffs.
