Heated Rivalry fans are apparently not happy Team USA’ Quinn Hughes will be appearing on this weekend’ episode of ‘Saturday Night Live.”

Over the weekend, Hughes and Team USA found themsevles at the center of a firestorm after they took a phone call from President Trump in the locker room after winning their gold medal game at the Olympics.

During the call, Trump joked that he needed to invite the women’s team to the White House alongside the men’s, if not, he would be impeached.

“I must tell you, we’re going to have to bring the women’s team, you do know that… I do believe I’d be impeached [if I didn’t],” Trump said.

Quinn has attempted to downplay the controversy by praising the women’s team during media appearances.

“I’m glad you mentioned the women’s team again. We’re really happy for them. [There’s] a lot going around on social media right now surrounding our team and their team, but in the last couple of summers, we did a lot of training with them and got to know a lot of those girls really well.”

On Saturday, Quinn will appear on SNL, which will be hosted by ‘Heated Rivalry’ star Connor Storrie.

Considering a large portion of ‘Heated Rivalry’ fans are liberal, they are not looking forward to Hughes being on SNL with Storrie.
