LeBron James and his family have been a major talking point this basketball offseason. That’s mainly come as a result of son Bronny James’s recent NBA Draft selection.

His other son, Bryce James, is now being brought into the conversation.

Bryce competed in the Peach Jam last week, which was held in Augusta, South Carolina. A highlight reel was posted showing his production in the event on Monday.

The social media account that posted the footage wrote that James “got his bag” while showing off some of his top moments. That viral clip, seen by 3.3 million viewers at the time of this writing, flashed his ability to get to the bucket, showed his three-point range, and highlighted a vicious block on a helpless defender.

It would, indeed, seem that he dominated his opposition.

College basketball contributor Ant Wright disagreed.

He broke down Bronny James’s stats from the Peach Jam, which he says tell a different story.

“LeMedia at it again… he was 31% from the field, 17.6% from 3 at Peach Jam,” Wright wrote while reposting the clip.

Looking at the event’s official website, Bryce James averaged 5.6 points and 2.4 boards per night while playing 22.2 minutes a contest.

He made 3-of-17 three-pointers while connecting on 50% of his free throws.

James is considered a legitimate college basketball prospect with many believing he’ll be better than his older brother. Rated as a Top 200 player by 24/7 Sports, he currently holds offers Duquesne and Ohio State.

Wright likely doesn’t take issue with Bryce James as a basketball player, but rather, with how he’s being promoted given his NBA father.

Many believe LeBron James played a major role in the Lakers’ selection of son, Bronny, despite pedestrian production and a major health scare.

The college basketball contributor can already see the next wave of James family hype forming.

This event doesn’t define his outlook as a prospect, but Wright wants to see a truthful display of his performance.
