At this point, Minnesota Timberwolves star wing Anthony Edwards could run for mayor in the city of Minneapolis and win. The 22-year-old just helped lead his team to the Western Conference Finals.

Now that he’s been in Minneapolis for four years and is arguably the most popular athlete in the city, you know that he’s getting tables at the nicest restaurants in town. And, with the Inside the NBA on TNT crew heading to the Twin Cities soon for the Western Conference Finals, Charles Barkley had to know where the best places to eat in the area are.

After the game, Inside the NBA was interviewing Anthony Edwards from their Atlanta studio, and Chuck used his opportunity to ask Anthony Edwards for restaurant recommendations

In the clip, Charles Barkley claims he hasn’t been to Minnesota in twenty years. But, the Final Four was just in Minneapolis back in 2019, and Barkley was indeed there as Virginia cut down the nets!

As for Edwards, the Game 7 victory was certainly not one of his better games during his outstanding playoff run. In fact, he was just 6-24 from the field for 16 points. But, he added 8 rebounds and 8 assists as the Nuggets sent double teams and driving lane help to him all throughout the game.  And, his defense was tremendous. Edwards was a menace in the passing lanes, especially in the second-half when they turned a 20-point deficit into a 98-90 win.

Hopefully, he and Charles Barkley have time to eat a steak dinner out in Minneapolis. Game 1 between the Timberwolves and the Mavericks is on Wednesday and Game 2 is on Friday. That leaves Thursday for these two to go to dinner!
