Antonio Brown, free-agent NFL wide receiver, is facing potential arrest after allegedly missing child support payments, according to TMZ.
Florida law enforcement has been instructed by a judge to take action after Brown allegedly missed yet another child support payment.
According to documents from the Miami-Dade County court, the ruling was handed down on August 9th. This decision comes in response to Antonio Brown’s failure to make a $15,000 child support payment to his ex-partner, Wiltrice Jackson, according to TMZ.
This isn’t the first time this year that Brown has found himself in legal trouble regarding child support payments.
Earlier this year, another judge had issued a similar order after Brown failed to fulfill a $30,000 payment obligation to Jackson. On that occasion, Brown managed to settle the outstanding payment before any legal action was taken against him.
Under the latest court ruling, Antonio Brown has the opportunity to avoid arrest if he rectifies his outstanding child support payments.
To clear his name, he must not only pay the $15,000 owed but also cover an additional $5,000 in attorney fees.
With the arrest warrant looming, Brown will need to address this issue promptly to avoid further legal consequences.
