How tall were you at 11 years old? According to the CDC, the average 11-year-old boy in the United States is just a tad over 4-foot-8. But Archange Railey-Lemovou is far from your average 11-year-old boy. That’s because Railey-Lemovou stands at a jaw-dropping 6-foot-5 inches tall despite only just turning 11.

He’s putting that height to good use, too. See, Railey-Lemovou is one of the best young basketball players on the planet. And he might just be the United States’ answer to Victor Wembanyama at some point down the line.

Despite his size, Railey-Lemovou moves incredibly smoothly for his age and is already throwing down dunks in games!

The Kansas native describes himself as a “gentle giant” off the court. But once he steps on the court, where he plays alongside his brother Aden (who is also a young star), Railey-Lemovou is more or less unstoppable.

Oh, and if any college coaches are already paying attention, they’ll love to learn that Railey-Lemovou is both a great student and an active participant in his community.

“Principals honor roll and Gold card member at my school,” Lemovou said on his player profile. “Gold cards are earned by having great grades and being a student of high moral and ethical character.”

In addition to the strong grades, he says he likes to draw and read and spends time feeding the homeless during volunteer hours.

Of course, Railey-Lemouvou isn’t the first and won’t be the last athlete that is tall for their grade. Just last year, Shaquille O’Neal helped provide a 6-foot-10 14-year-old from Michigan with shoes and clothing. But Railey-Lemovou’s well-rounded skill set both on and off the court is truly impressive.
