Absolutely nobody showed up to watch college basketball at the Intuit Dome in Los Angeles on Friday. Arizona fans completely out-numbered UCLA for the second game of the Hall of Fame Series.

They willed their team to victory!

Although it was a rainy day in Southern California, this was a top-15 college basketball matchup at one of the best venues in the country. The lack of attendance does not reflect well on the Bruins’ fanbase.

College basketball at the Intuit Dome looks incredible.

Opened less than 18 months ago, the Intuit Dome is perhaps the best modern venue in basketball. The 18,300-capacity arena was designed to bring fans as close to the action as possible, with a 38,375-square-foot double-sided LED screen wrapped around the ceiling.

Every single seat also features an LED light in the armrest. It creates a visual experience that does not exist elsewhere.

Two college basketball games were played at the Intuit Dome on Friday as part of the Hall of Fame Series. It started with USC and Illinois State at 4:30 p.m. local time.

Between the start time, the opponent and the rain, the arena was mostly empty.

There was maybe a few hundred people in the crowd. Maybe.

The Trojans won by 20, which served as the appetizer for the main course.

Arizona fans completely outnumbered UCLA.

Arizona ranked No. 5 in the country. UCLA ranked No. 15.

Although Tucson is more than 500 miles east of Inglewood, it was the Wildcats who created a home-court advantage for the visitors. They completely drowned out the Bruins during pregame introductions.

There was a lot more red and navy than sissy blue and gold.

To be fair, the late-arriving Los Angeles crowd started to fill in after tipoff. They were still out-numbered.

Outside of the student section, there were two or three Arizona fans for every UCLA fan.

Maybe it had something to do with the weather. Maybe it had something to do with the location.

Either way, it was a poor showing from the Bruins!
