Every year, it seems that players at the NFL Scouting Combine get bigger, faster, and stronger than the year before. That’s especially evident on the offensive and defensive lines, as guys are coming in as absolute physical freaks.
Enter Missouri offensive lineman Armand Membou. The Tiger lit up the NFL combine, especially the 40-Yard Dash, with a time you have to see to believe.
Membou has been getting first-round buzz lately after a solid season with Mizzou. He was one of the highest-graded tackles in the country according to Pro Football Focus, and has risen into the top-25 of their NFL Draft Big Board.
He hasn’t even turned 21 yet, so he’s one of the youngest players in the class. Considering how good the Second-Team All-SEC selection was at 20 in the best league in college football, it appears that the sky is the limit.
The 40 isn’t that relevant for offensive linemen. How often are they running 40 yards downfield, let alone in a straight line? But, it does show off some explosiveness and athleticism. Armand Membou has both of those things in spades. He showed that off i his run at the combine.
the LOUDEST 40 you will hear 😤😤

His top speed rivaled Tyreek Hill’s!
THIS IS ABSURD!
332 lb Armand Membou hit 20.28 mph on the 40
for context, Tyreek Hill’s (191 lbs) top speed on this 80-yard foot race TD was 20.27 mph

This is at 6’4, 332. It’s that athleticism that could have him as the first offensive lineman off the board.
