Athletes are, for the most part, not good at social media. That’s why, these days, most of the biggest stars in the sports world have their social media presence managed by professionals to avoid the athletes doing something very dumb.
But, occasionally, things will fall through the cracks and the athletes will make hilariously bad posts that are quite memorable. Recently, Bleacher Report asked fans to name the funniest social media posts by athletes.

Here are some of the best. Lots of LeBron, Kevin Durant, and other NBA players. Quite frankly, those two are the kings of bad social media posts.

English soccer legend Wayne Rooney also had some funny ones in the early 2010s.

But, in my opinion, the Granddaddy of them all is this tweet from former Ohio State quarterback Cardale Jones.

The moral of the story is, athletes really need to listen to the social media managers.
