Awful Eagles Fans Said They Hoped Carson Wentz Was The Unidentified Eagles Player Who Tested Positive For COVID-19 To Keep Him Off The Field

Eagles franchise QB Carson Wentz has underperformed all season long and some Eagles fans are taking their dislike of Wentz a bit too far.

On Thursday it was announced that an unidentified Eagles player, who was later to be revealed to be Marcus Epps, had tested positive for COVID-19.

“The Philadelphia Eagles received confirmation this morning that a player tested positive for COVID-19. The individual immediately went into self-isolation upon learning of his test result. We are following the NFL-NFLPA intensive protocols and remain in close communication with the league on this matter.”

During the initial report, several awful Eagles fans said they had hoped Wentz was the player who tested positive so that he would be forced to sit out this week.

It's so on brand of eagles fans to pray that Carson Wentz is the player with covid so they can keep him off the field.
