Bayern Munich is one of the best soccer clubs in the world. The German club have been big players in world football for over a century. The club has won the German top division, the Bundesliga 32 times in the 73-year history of the league.
They’re on quite a run recently, too. Bayern Munich has won the last 10 Bundesliga titles, and won the Champions League in 2020, one of their six European titles.
Coming into this season, the team lost legendary striker Robert Lewandowski to Real Madrid in the offseason, but they are still out in front in the Bundesliga, leading rival Borussia Dortmund by two points.
But, the team fired their manager Julian Nagelsmann, replacing him with former Chelsea Manager Thomas Tuchel, on March 24. Since then, Bayern Munich has played well in the league, but has been knocked out of the German version of the FA Cup, and suffered a humiliating, 3-0, Champions League defeat to Manchester City in the Champions League quarterfinals on Tuesday.

Yes, Bayern Munich will still get a crack at Man City on their home pitch next week, but it seems like their team chemistry is shot, as star attackers Sadio Mané and Leroy Sané got into a fight after the match.

Here are more details, courtesy of ESPN.
Bayern Munich’s Sadio Mane and Leroy Sane clashed in the dressing room after the German club’s Champions League quarterfinal first-leg defeat at Manchester City, according to multiple reports in Germany on Wednesday.
The reports indicated Sane suffered a cut lip in the altercation and that the two — who also were seen arguing on the pitch late in the game — had to be separated by teammates.
Bild added that Senegal international Mane, a two-time African footballer of the year, had complained about the way Germany winger Sane spoke to him following the 3-0 loss at the Etihad Stadium.
There was no immediate comment from Bayern Munich about the reported incident.
Needless to say, with the way Manchester City is playing lately, that’s not what you want with your European title hopes on the line.
