Amazon’s Thursday Night Football has gotten a reputation for featuring awful games, and this Thursday’s game was no different.
Even Al Michaels has spoken about how “dreadful” some of the Thursday Night Games have been.
“I think I’m to the point in my life and career, having watched sports since I was 6 years old, I feel what the crowd feels,” M “The Denver-Indianapolis game was a dreadful game. No other way to describe it. No touchdowns. In fact, at one point during the game, I said to (analyst) Kirk (Herbstreit), ‘Is it possible this game could be so bad that it’s actually good?’ He’d never heard that from a partner and went, ‘No!’”
On Thursday, Amazon featured the terrible 2-7 Chicago Bears and the 1-7 Carolina Panthers that delivered one of the worst first halves of the season.
The game was so bad that a viral video depicting the lowlights between both teams was more entertaining than the actual game itself.
