Sixers’ Number One Pick Ben Simmons Threatened To Run On To The Field At The Eagles Game, Sort Of

Philadelphia 76ers’ number one pick Ben Simmons was in attendance at Sunday’s Eagles-Browns game and actually thought about going FULL PHILLY and running on to the field.

Simmons even tweeted his threat to jet on to Lincoln Financial Field, but was smart enough to include one very hard-to-reach caveat.

That’s right. He needed one BILLION re-tweets to make it happen. Turns out he only fell short by somewhere around 999,986,000. Close call.

That being said, while running on to the field is usually frowned upon, the Eagles’ Twitter account seemed more than interested in letting it actually happen.

No word on whether Simmons’ teammate Joel Embiid, who was there with him, would also have made the mad dash, but he did get himself a sweet hat for occasion.
