Bill Belichick is not going to leave North Carolina for a return to the NFL after just 36 days as the Tar Heels’ new head coach unless he completely blindsides his 24-year-old girlfriend. Jordon Hudson made a definitive statement about her 72-year-old boyfriend’s future plans as rumors continue to swirl.

Hudson, a former competitive cheerleader, first interacted with Belichick in 2021. The two kept in touch over the last few years and started seeing each other romantically at some point last year. They officially got together after Belichick split from his longterm relationship with Linda Holliday. He was not coaching at the time.
Now, at least four months later, Belichick is one month into his new role as head coach at UNC. However, rumors continue to swirl that he could leave the Tar Heels high and dry for a return to the National Football League with a team like the Dallas Cowboys.
In fact, his contract remains unsigned.
Belichick does not have a binding agreement with the University of North Carolina at this current point in time. That could invalidate every single penny of his “buyout” if he was to up and leave for the NFL.
Hudson made it abundantly clear on Thursday that her new boyfriend is not going anywhere. She posted a series of photos to Instagram in which she is wearing Tar Heel blue and/or UNC gear.

This would not be the first time that Belichick changed his mind about a job and left on a moment’s notice. There is always a chance that he could bail, especially after June 1 when his buyout drops by $9 million. However, his 24-year-old girlfriend does not seem to believe a sudden departure is in the works behind her back. Only time will tell but that post on Instagram is probably a good indication of his plans.
