The story of Damar Hamlin, the Buffalo Bills’ player who made headlines after suffering a cardiac arrest during an NFL game, is going to be made into a movie, according to Deadline.

Hamlin is set to become the focal point of an upcoming documentary film that chronicles his remarkable recovery journey and his subsequent advocacy efforts.

The documentary, titled “Did We Win?“, draws its name from a question Hamlin posed while lying in his hospital bed.

After emerging from medically induced sedation, he first asked about the outcome of the Bills’ game against the Bengals, in which he suffered his injury.

Produced by NFL Films, the documentary offers an intimate and inside look into Hamlin’s life and experiences.

He was continually “Mic’d Up” throughout the entirety of the 2023 training camp, providing viewers with unprecedented access to his thoughts, emotions, and the challenges he faced while returning to the NFL

Beau Flynn, a spokesperson for the project, expressed enthusiasm about the forthcoming documentary, saying, “NFL Films was filming him all through training camp, and he was mic’d up. Their audio is amazing and lets you really feel like you’re inside it.”

As production for “Did We Win?” is underway, fans of Damar Hamlin’s journey surely can’t wait to watch it.
