The NBA regular season is finally over, with all 30 teams playing their last game of the season on Sunday afternoon.

The last day of the season didn’t go quietly, though, as we got some zany highlights around the league. That included Houston Rockets center Boban Marjanović, who purposely missed foul shots so Los Angeles Clippers fans could get free chicken.

The two teams squared off on Sunday in a game that was largely meaningless for the two teams, with the Rockets eliminated and the Clippers firmly in control of the 4th seed in the Western Conference.

The Clippers have a promotion where if the visiting team misses two foul shots in the fourth quarter, they can get a free chicken sandwich at Chick-fil-A. So, when Boban missed his first foul shot in the fourth quarter, the crowd was begging the 7-foot-3 fan favorite to miss another one.

He obliged, missing the second one on purpose and sending the Clippers faithful home happy.

That rules. Boban has always been one of the coolest guys in the league, and this was an awesome thing to do. The only downside is that since it was a Sunday, fans couldn’t immediately go get their free chicken sandwich, as Chick-fil-A is closed on Sundays.

The Rockets won, 116-105.
