Bobby Wagner gave the Seattle Seahawks an amazing 10 years, but unfortunately, he doesn’t feel like the organization handled things correctly when it came time to end their relationship.
Earlier this week, the Seahawks announced that they had informed Wagner that they were releasing him.
Seahawks informed eight-time All-Pro and Pro-Bowl LB Bobby Wagner, a franchise icon, that they are releasing him, per source.
Wagner arrived in Seattle on the same 2012 day as Russell Wilson and now leaves the same day, too. End of an era in Seattle.

“This is an extremely difficult day for the organization,” general manager John Schneider said in a statement. “Bobby has been at the center of our defense for the past 10 seasons and always represented our organization with class. He is a special player and person, and we are forever grateful. Bobby will always be a Hawk.”
On Friday, days after the release, Wagner fired a shot at the organization for not giving him a heads up about his release. According to Wagner, he didn’t learn that he was getting cut by anyone from the team.
Crazy part about all this. I played there for 10 years & I didn’t even hear it from them that I wasn’t coming back.

The Seahawks should have probably given Wagner a courtesy call considering that he contributed heavily to bringing a Super Bowl trophy to Seattle.
