During game 3 of the Celtics-Sixers series on Saturday, 76ers guard Marco Belinelli made a game-tying jumper at the end of the fourth quarter against the Celtics to extend the game to overtime. Unfortunately, the confetti guy for the Sixers believed that Belinelli had hit a three to win the game and prematurely released the confetti inside of the arena.

The Sixers ended up losing game 3 to the Celtics which doomed them in the series.
Last night the Celtics finally put away the Sixers in game 5 to advance to the Eastern Conference finals to face the Cleveland Cavaliers. After the game, the Celtics social media manager decided to get petty and posted this celebrating picture that included a confetti emoji.
