Brady Hart announced his commitment to play college football at the University of Michigan on Tuesday. He immediately took a shot at Ohio State less than 48 hours later.

The rivalry is real!

Hart, a four-star quarterback prospect in the Class of 2026, hails from Indialantic, Florida and plays for Cocoa High School. Every major recruiting site considers him to be one of the 10 best players at his position in his class and a top-200 recruit overall. Some have him much higher.

His sophomore year highlight tape is impressive. Hart completed 65% of his passes for 3,759 yards for 41 touchdowns with 11 interceptions.

Cocoa went 14-1 in his first year as the starter en route to a state championship.

Brady Hart is a jokester!

The Wolverines and Buckeyes are two of the biggest rivals in all of sports. They hate each other.

Hart is already in on the action.

He posted an offer to Ohio State on the day prior to his commitment to Michigan and chose a very specific photo. It showed Kyle McCord about to get crushed in the end zone at The Big House during last year’s iteration of The Game.

And then Hart committed to the Maize and Blue!

If that wasn’t savage enough, he also took a shot at the culture in Columbus while discussing his decision with E.J. Holland of The Wolverine. It was not subtle.

When I walked out of Ohio State, I realized the culture that Michigan has isn’t everywhere.

Pow pow!

Hart took an unofficial visit to Ohio State in March. He returned on the 17th of June, two days after an unofficial visit to Michigan. His commitment was announced on the 18th.

Buckeyes fans find Hart’s comments to be classless and claim that he never took a “real” visit. Wolverines find them to be hilarious. They’re obviously glad to have him.

There is still a very long way to go in Hart’s college football recruitment so things could absolutely change. Other schools in the mix include Miami, Notre Dame and Clemson. However, he seems pretty locked in and made it very clear that he is not going to Ohio State.

It would be very awkward if Brady Hart was to flip!
