Brawl Breaks Out After Dirty Hit On Sam Howell During Commanders-Cardinals Game

Things got a bit heated between the Commanders and Cardinals in the first game of the season.

In the first quarter of the game between the Arizona Cardinals and Washington Commanders, quarterback Sam Howell scrambled out of the pocket toward the sideline and took a brutal late hit from a Cardinals defender.

Commanders players took exception to the hit and confronted several Cardinals players.

Thankfully, Howell was okay and stayed in the game. Eventually, both sides cooled off, and the game continued shortly after.
