Braxton Miller is one of the most accomplished passers in Ohio State history, and now, his son is looking to duplicate that on-field success. Despite having yet to enter the sixth grade, he already boasts a Division I offer!

Landon Miller picked up an offer from Florida Atlantic this summer as he gets set to start middle school. It’s likely the first of many with his football journey just getting started.

The elder Miller spent five seasons in Columbus, becoming the ultimate Swiss Army knife for the Buckeyes. As a freshman, he saw action in 12 games before twice being named Big Ten Player of the Year as a sophomore and junior.

Over those three seasons, he racked up 5,292 passing yards, 3,054 rushing yards, and 84 combined touchdowns. After missing the 2014 campaign with injury, he made a full-time move to H-back for his final campaign.

As a senior, he showed versatility and athleticism, rushing for 260 yards while adding another 341 yards as a receiver.

That production landed him a spot in the Ohio State Hall of Fame.

Soon, his son will try to make his own mark on college football!

Braxton Miller landed his first D1 offer…

But it will take some time before most fans get to see him on the field. That’s because he just wrapped up elementary school!

Florida Atlantic has extended a scholarship to Landon Miller, who’s currently in the class of 2031. There is a Miller family connection to the Owls.

FAU head coach Tom Herman was Braxton Miller’s offensive coordinator at Ohio State from 2012 to 2014. Now, he’s hoping to grab the next in the bloodline!

It certainly worked out for Herman the first go-round, as he buoyed his success with Miller at quarterback into a head coaching role at Houston, and later Texas.

Will Landon Miller play for his father’s former coach when he reaches the college level? Time will tell!
