Back in 2013 former ESPN play-by-play man and current Raiders radio broadcaster Brent Musburger found himself in some hot water after he made an inappropriate comment about Katherine Webb-McCarron during the live broadcast of the BCS national championship game between Alabama and Notre Dame.
“You see that lovely lady there, she does go to Auburn, but she’s also Miss Alabama and that’s (then-‘Bama QB) AJ McCarron’s girlfriend,” he said. “You quarterbacks, you get all the good-looking women. What a beautiful woman. Wow.”
Over the weekend, the Buffalo Bills decided to trade AJ McCarron to the Oakland Raiders.
The Buffalo Bills traded quarterback AJ McCarron to the Oakland Raiders for a 2019 fifth-round draft pick on Saturday.
The Raiders, who will owe McCarron his fully guaranteed, $900,000 base salary this season, also waived quarterback Connor Cook on Saturday.
In March, the Bills signed the 27-year-old McCarron to a two-year, $10 million contract, which included a $4 million signing bonus, after trading starting quarterback Tyrod Taylor to the Browns.
After the trade was finalized, Musburger couldn’t resist making a joke about Mrs. McCarron.
Welcome A.J. McCarron to the Raider family. Can’t wait for the “beautiful “ Mrs. McCarron to join us in Oakland .
