Former NFL QB Brett Favre is going to be watching Kid Rock’s halftime show on Super Bowl Sunday.
Last week, Erika Kirk’s Turning Point USA announced that Kid Rock would headline its alternative Super Bowl halftime show, competing with Bad Bunny.

“We’re approaching this show like David and Goliath,” Kid Rock said in a statement. “Competing with the pro football machine and a global pop superstar is almost impossible…or is it?”
“He’s said he’s having a dance party, wearing a dress, and singing in Spanish? Cool. We plan to play great songs for folks who love America,” Rock said.
While the majority of the country will be tuned into Bad Bunny, Favre has already made the decision to watch Kid Rock.
“Not familiar with Bad Bunny so don’t know if his music is good or bad. I’m just going to watch what I know Lee Brice, Kid Rock All-American Halftime Show.”

Social media did not take Favre’s comments too well.
The Super Bowl halftime show has featured U2, The Rolling Stones, Paul McCartney, Coldplay, Shakira, Rihanna, and The Weeknd — all non-American — and somehow America survived 🇮🇪🇬🇧🇨🇴🇧🇧🇨🇦
But one American artist sings in Spanish and now halftime is a problem? 😂
