Patrick Mahomes forgot to wear his padded pants at Kansas City Chiefs training camp earlier this week and his wife, Brittany Mahomes made it seem like he is incompetent without her. Maybe her quip is an accurate depiction of their relationship but it is yet another example where she had to make a hilarious viral moment involving her husband about herself.
It was a joke that did not land…
Patrick is currently in St. Joseph, Missouri to prepare for a second-straight Super Bowl title defense. The Chiefs won each of the last two and will hope to repeat.
After things got underway with just helmets last week, the pads went on for camp this week. Kansas City’s $450 signal-caller must’ve forgot— from the waist-down, at least.
He realized that he wasn’t wearing his padded girdle while mic’d up on Wednesday. He didn’t have his thigh or knee pads so Patrick had to run back into the locker room and get re-dressed.
In response to the hilarious, honest mistake, Brittany joked on Instagram that her husband needed her to help him with the most basic task.
