In a string of devastating blows for the Denver Broncos, linebacker Jonas Griffith has been sidelined for the entire season due to a torn ACL.

The unfortunate news was confirmed by 9News’ Mike Klis, leaving fans and the team reeling from yet another significant injury to one of their key players.

This injury comes right on the heels of the loss of wide receiver Tim Patrick, who suffered a torn Achilles just a few days ago.

Patrick’s absence was already a significant blow to the Broncos’ offense, and now with Griffith’s injury, the team faces an even greater challenge in the upcoming season.

Additionally, wide receiver K.J. Hamler is also currently out With a heart condition, which further hurts Denver’s depth chart at wide receiver.

Adding to their growing list of injured players is rookie 3rd round pick cornerback Riley Moss, who suffered a core muscle injury that will keep him out of action for at least a month.

Jonas Griffith’s absence will be felt on the field, as the linebacker played a starting role for the Broncos last season.

He started in 8 out of the 9 games he played, showcasing his skills with 46 tackles, an interception, and 3 quarterback hits.

The Broncos are currently hurting on depth all over the team as injuries continue to mount.
