Broncos linebacker Brandon Marshall often gets confused for Bears wide receiver Brandon Marshall on twitter. So when news broke this morning that the Bears were thinking of trading Brandon Marshall, the Broncos’ linebacker thought it would be funny to mess Bears fans with this tweet.
The tweet caused a bit of a mini-panic among Bears fans who assumed it was the Bears’ Brandon Marshall who was responsible for the tweet.
This isn’t the first time Marshall has had fun on Twitter over the name confusion. Last year Marshall did a little trolling during a Bears Monday Night Football game.
