In the lead-up to the NFL season opener between the Denver Broncos and the Las Vegas Raiders, players from the Broncos were asked about their reasons for “hating” their divisional rivals.

While responses ranged from on-field rivalry to historical matchups, one player’s answer stood out for its unexpected twist, in a since deleted video from DNVR Broncos.

Pass-rusher Randy Gregory humorously pointed to a unique source of his disdain for the Raiders. “I don’t like the owner’s haircut, I don’t like the bowl cut… kinda pisses me off,” Gregory quipped.

Mark Davis, the owner of the Las Vegas Raiders, has long been recognized for his distinctive bowl cut hairstyle, which has garnered attention and even humor on social media platforms.

It seems that Gregory’s playful jab at Davis’s haircut is an example of the light-hearted banter often associated with sports rivalries.

While the players’ responses provided some comic relief in the build-up to Sunday’s game, the Broncos-Raiders rivalry remains intense and promises to deliver another exciting chapter when the two teams clash on the field for their 2023 season opener.
