Bronny James might want to head back to school next season.
Last week, the eldest son of Lakers superstar LeBron James announced that he was declaring for the NBA draft after one year at USC to get an honest assessment of where his game was at.

Unfortunately for Bronny, it seems like most NBA scouts believe he’s not NBA-ready yet.
On Wednesday, The Ringer’s Kevin O’Connor sat down with several NBA scouts and GMs about what they thought Bronny’s.
One anonymous NBA GM had a clear message for Bronny.
“Bronny is nowhere near ready,“He should go back to school to develop at his own pace or he risks getting lost in the shuffle, whether or not he’s playing with his dad.”
An NBA scout detailed the problems with Bronny’s shot which could “take years to correct.”
“Bronny is an undersized non-shooting guard,” “The shot looks good but doesn’t go in. Those guys scare me the most. It’s either lack of touch or mental, and either way, those take years to correct.”
While Bronny isn’t NBA-ready, he could still get picked up because his father is LeBron James.
“There are probably three rounds’ worth of prospects more talented than Bronny in this class,” one GM told the Ringer “So picking Bronny is more about getting LeBron’s attention right now than it is about developing Bronny himself.”
