Bronny James is speaking out after struggling offensively during his first three Summer League games.

Earlier this week, LeBron James’ son was mocked for airballing a practice shot during the team’s game vs the Heat.

Bronny has gone 0-12 from the 3-point line and has shot 26 percent from the field during his Summer League stint.

While speaking with ESPN, Bronny admitted that he’s experiencing a shooting slump right now.

Through three summer league games, including two in the California Classic, James is shooting 6-for-26 overall (23.1%) and 0-for-12 from 3.

“I just feel like I’m in a little slump right now,” James said.

Lakers head coach JJ Redick doesn’t mind Bronny’s terrible shooting during Summer League play and is happy as long as the rookie plays solid defense.

“I’ve communicated to him right now, what we’re looking for, is defensive ball pressure. I told him this yesterday. I said, I don’t care if you have 10 fouls, I don’t care if you get blown by.”

“What I do care about is if you’re on the ball and you’re three feet off the ball. Like you have to be a guy that’s a ball hawk at all times. We’re going to develop his shot, we’ll develop his ball skills. He’s already got a great feel. He has a really good instinctive nature on the defensive end.”
