After winning the PGA Championship over the weekend — the fifth major championship win of his career — Brooks Koepka showed up at the Florida Panthers’ Eastern Conference Final game against the Carolina Hurricanes on Monday night.
While the Panthers were able to get a 1-0 victory over the Canes and take another step towards the Stanley Cup Finals, as they now lead the series 3-0, Koepka’s appearance is what was dominating social media last night as the golf star was looking a bit, uh, intense.

Given the unique look on Koepka’s face at the Panthers game, sports fans were quick to make jokes about the 33-year-old allegedly using a certain eye-widening substance. To be clear, these are all just jokes made by people on the internet and we aren’t personally accusing Koepka of anything other than having a good time at a hockey game. Not that there’s anything wrong with that.

Koepka finished the 2023 PGA Championship — which was held at Oak Hill Country Club in upstate New York — at -9, beating Scottie Scheffler and Viktor Hovland by two strokes.
Despite his recent win, though, sports fans weren’t about to take it easy on him.

In addition to his win at the 2023 PGA Championship, the LIV Tour golfer also won the tournament in 2018 and 2019, and the U.S. Open in 2017 and 2018. He’s also come second at the Masters in both 2019 and 2023.
With a 3-0 lead in the Eastern Conference Finals, the Florida Panthers are just one win away from their first Stanley Cup Finals since 1996. Unlike the NBA, however, a 3-0 series lead in the NHL isn’t necessarily a foregone conclusion, as there have been four instances of teams coming back from a 0-3 deficit, with the most recent happening in 2014.
Game 4 of the Eastern Conference Finals between the Florida Panthers and Carolina Hurricanes will take place on Wednesday, May 24 at 8 p.m. EST. Given the obviously busy weekend that Brooks had, we doubt he’ll be showing up for that one, too. Unless, of course, he’s still awake.
