Browns head coach Kevin Stefanski is speaking out against the conspiracy theories, saying that he’s trying to sabotage Shedeur Sanders’ career.

On Saturday night during the team’s preseason game vs the Rams, Stefanski was criticized for giving Tyler ‘Snoop’ Huntley late-game two-minute drill reps that could have gone to Sanders.

After the game, Stefanski said that he was rewarding Huntley for coming through for the team when they had injuries on the team, before ultimately cutting him on Sunday.

“Nothing more than decided to give Snoop some work at the end of the game,” Stefanski said. “We just felt if we could get him some action in that last game we were going to do that. He’s done a really nice job for us over the last few weeks and we just put him out there.”

Stefanski was later asked about people thinking he’s trying to sabotage Sanders and his career.

“Obviously I don’t concern myself with outside type of things, but I’m committed to his development, just like all of our rookies,” Stefanski said. “We’ll continue to focus on getting our guys better, and that’s what we’ll stay committed to, and that’s what’s important to me.”
