UFC fighter Bryce Mitchell recently ripped into Elon Musk and believes that time will reveal his “true character.” Mitchell made the comments after his victory at UFC 310.
Elon Musk, who, similar to UFC CEO Dana White, has been seen with President-elect Donald Trump numerous times in recent months (including at UFC events), won’t be able to hide his “true character” now that he’s in an increased spotlight, according to Mitchell.
A 30-year-old from Arkansas, Mitchell made his UFC debut on The Ultimate Fighter: Undefeated in 2018 and is currently 13th in the UFC’s Featherweight rankings.
Mitchell has made controversial comments in the past, such as sharing his belief in various conspiracy theories about diseases, guns, and the shape of the Earth.
“Time will always reveal someone’s true character; and if you put that man in a position of power, his true character will be revealed,” Mitchell said after his win over fellow featherweight Kron Gracie at UFC 310 over the weekend.
Mitchell’s ill-will towards Musk, among other things, seems to stem from the fact that he uses his money to building rockets and “cars that suck” instead of actually helping people.
Earlier this year, he also called Elon Musk a “false prophet” and has the behavior of the “Antichrist.”
“Let’s just put it this way: he has all the money in this country — he’s the wealthiest man in the country country — and he wasted on f—— rockets, man. Think about it, dude! He could actually help people with that money, but he don’t give a s– about you. He’s got all the money in the world to help you. It’d be a penny to him and you would never have to work again,” Mitchell continued.
Mitchell believes that Musk — who is the richest man in the world with a reported net worth of $355 billion — does not care about anyone but himself.
“He don’t give a s— about you, though. He wants to waste it on rockets and waste it on all these cars that suck. Time will reveal the character of that man; and the more he gets under the spotlight — you can’t fake it forever — his character will be revealed. And you mark my words, it will be seen that he is a rat b——. You know, if I had all that money, I would like to think I would help people more than he does.”
Given how much Musk and UFC CEO Dana White have been paling around with President-elect Trump, Mitchell’s comments immediately went viral on social media.
