Longtime NASCAR reporter Jeff Gluck is speaking out after Bubba Wallace’s incident over the weekend.
On Sunday, Wallace was caught on camera intentionally slamming into Alex Bowman’s car in retaliation for Bowman causing him to spin out during stage 1.

Gluck went on the Teardown podcast and argued that Wallace should be fined for his actions.
“I think Bubba should be penalized. I think the window nets are down, it’s a cooldown lap, and it wasn’t just like he came up and sort up rubbed on him, He doored him and put him in the fence. That’s an unsafe thing, so that’s a fine If those two are blank cars and I don’t know the numbers, I don’t know the drivers, and I see a driver did that on the cool-down lap and somebody had their window net down, I’m saying that’s a fine”
Bowman, on the other hand, doesn’t think Wallace should be penalized.
“He barely hit me, everything was fine and it was plenty deserved. said Bowman. “I’d be mad, too. I ruined his day. I just messed up. I’ve been embarrassed about it since it happened. I tried to call him during the rain delay and I shot him a text.”
